One of Houston’s largest employers had a big problem. Its employees were going to the ER for minor health issues and seeking care from doctors outside their network, leading to skyrocketing costs for this self-insured school district. In order to catch the attention of busy teachers, administrators and support staff, we skipped the “smiling doctor with patient” images and insurance-y copy. Instead, unusual situations and simple copy made the case in a fun, memorable way.
