Pfieffer Beach is not the easiest place to find, which probably adds to its coolness. Of the three Pacific beaches I visited on this trip, Pfieffer was my favorite. The bottom picture is the entrance to the beach. You walk down a tree-lined pathway and feel like you’re about to enter something amazing. And you do. After you exit the trees, the world opens up. The water was beating the hell out of the rocks. There were a couple of guys doing a bit of surfing, and they were having a hard time even getting up on their boards. There was some bizarre plant life that had washed up all over the place. It looked like something related to squid, but it was flora. Took home a handful of cool rocks. Hope that wasn’t illegal.
