check it

Fighting stupidization, NYC style.

Look at how my friend Joel is fighting stupidization in New York. I LOVE IT! The fight caught on in his office, so they printed up tee shirts in solidarity. And they’re even sending me one! I’m so excited. I just can’t hide it. And I won’t be able to hide in that bright orange tee shirt, either.

My day just improved 100%, and it was already pretty alright to begin with.

Fight stupidization. In whatever way works for you.

PS – Happy birthday, Ted.

  1. While I’m not a big fan of the color, I like the idea of making the printing smaller, rather than throw it in people’s faces in big, bold print. It makes the passing observer have to pay more attention and look closer to get the message.

The added bonus being, if it’s a female wearer, you can more easily conceal the fact that you’re just checking out her rack. Because after all, just about any time a woman wears a t-shirt with some kind of interesting graphic or message on it, she’s pretty much saying “Here, I’m giving you an hassle-free excuse to check out my rack.”

  2. I didn’t mean she’s explicitly saying it, I meant that she is implicitly say it, and after all, that is how a good percentange of women do most of their communication, through implication and innuendo.

  3. Judging by the response to the shirts Joel had printed up, I definitely need to make this happen. I’ll get some printed up and then post a link on my website.

    More to come…

PS – If you’d been walking around Chelsea after work today, you would have seen one in action.
