How can I submit a question to Ask a Dilettante?
Send your queries to crystal at cryjack dot com. Anything goes, as long as the question is interesting. Or really, really boring. No middle ground.

Isn't "dilettante" basically an insult?
By stating that I am, at best, a dabbler - jack(son) of all trades, master of none - there’s no need to worry that someone is going to take any of this too seriously. Unless they want to.
